— The Summer Experience You're Looking For —
This year Walgreens is offering a new opportunity for pharmacy students. Walgreens has created a program where you can learn and practice the application of your knowledge before you graduate. We have created a 12-week program available to all pharmacy students and it is designed to provide varying levels of information based on your year in pharmacy school. Your projects, responsibilities and practical experience will vary dependent upon where you are in your curriculum.
You will work on exercises involving:
Prescription Medications
Over-the-Counter Products
Herbal Products
Patient Counseling Guidelines
Disease State Information
Pharmacy Laws and Ethics
Management of the Pharmacy
This program will be available in our markets nationwide. This program was designed by a team of recent pharmacy graduates to enhance your professional development. Early in school it is important to learn the tasks of the pharmacy technician, but as you progress through your curriculum it is important to have the opportunities to apply your knowledge in a working environment. We want you to learn from The Pharmacy America Trusts. We want our pharmacists to help develop YOU, the future of pharmacy.
