Schedule II Controlled Substances

A medication that is listed as a "Schedule II Controlled Substance" by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), such as a morphine-like or amphetamine-like drug, may not be ordered online or approved over the phone.

If you would like your prescription shipped to you, you must mail the original prescription including the patient's name and address to Walgreens, along with the Printable Walgreens.com Prescription Order Form. The form indicates the mailing address where the form and prescription should be sent. Each time you need a Schedule II Controlled Substance filled, a new, written prescription from your physician is required, and a signature will be needed upon delivery. Your order will ship within two weeks from the date you mail in your original prescription order.

To order a prescription of a Schedule II Controlled Substance at your local Walgreens pharmacy, the original prescription must be presented at the pharmacy.
