Getting Beach-Bod Ready

With spring break and swimsuit season in mind, beach-goers are setting up their regimes to get healthy and look their best. With the assistance of a balanced diet and regular workout schedule, try some of our favorite tips to prepare for beach season:

Healthy habit snacking. While you’re most likely already monitoring your meals, don’t forget to make snack time changes as well. Trade out chips and sweets for other snacking options like  Nice!TM Fruit and Nut Trail Mix. Or try fresh fruit like grapefruit or strawberries!

Set both a timeline and an end goal. The most successful work out plans start out with a goal in mind. Start off by defining your goals and a healthy target weight. Keep a journal or a workout log to track progress and diet. You can even get a smartphone app (such as MyFitnessPal) to help you keep track when you’re on the go.

Prepare your skin for the heat. While you’re working to get your body ready for the beach, don’t forget to take care of your skin as well. You’re working hard to show that skin, so don’t let it fall victim to sun damage! Healing lotions help skin cells stay strong. Try using Studio 35 BeautyTM Skin Firming Lotion at night to prep your skin for beach season, and of course don’t forget sunscreen when you finally hit the beach!

Work out the healthy way. Many people run the risk of over-working themselves when they hit up the gym the first time after some time off.  Toning and burning calories exhaust your body’s resources, so keep your body well with the right vitamins and supplements. Try a daily multivitamin solution (men’s or women’s) to stay well.
