This featured market includes Phoenix and Tucson.
Residents of Phoenix and Tucson alike enjoy over 300 days of sunshine each year. The dry climate and warm weather make it easy to be outdoors even in winter, when average highs still hover around 70 degrees.
Favorite activities include everything from hiking some of the country's most beautiful trails to year-round golfing (in Phoenix alone, you'll have over 150 golf courses from which to choose). Nearby escapes include the Grand Canyon, skiing in Flagstaff, the Red Rocks of Sedona, old west mining towns of Tombstone and Ajo, the vineyards around Sonoita and Patagonia and weekend getaways to Mexico, Las Vegas or coastal California.
Phoenix has a wide variety of entertainment options, including four major sports teams (Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns) as well as art galleries and many Broadway shows (hosted at ASU's Gammage Auditorium).
The city of Tucson is surrounded by five mountain ranges and is a star gazer's dream, as "light pollution" ordinances enable the city to maintain five world-class observatories. Tucson enjoys its own resident symphony, opera, theater and ballet companies, in addition to numerous world class spas.
