As Drug Store Manager, you will direct the operations of a Walgreens Drug Store. You will be responsible for improving sales, profits and public image through the overall development and protection of store assets, staffing and customer service strategies. You will be at the heart of store sales each and every day as you manage inventory budgets, select and order new merchandise, liquidate overstocked items and recommend policies designed to maximize profits. You will facilitate the implementation of any new technology and work with the Pharmacy Manager toward success of the operation. Your staff will look to you for leadership and motivation as you help them maintain the superior customer service policies that are the foundation of Walgreens success. And you will be responsible for maintaining an awareness of the competition as well as developments in the retail industry and management field.
