Careers: Job Shadowing
Walgreens has created an exciting opportunity to introduce interested high school students to the career possibilities available in the field of pharmacy. We do this by scheduling shadowing experiences in our pharmacies coordinated through the local high schools.

Walgreens job shadowing provides students with an inside look into how a Walgreens pharmacy operates. Students will get the opportunity to:
  • Observe the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy

  • Gain exposure to the most advanced, customized retail pharmacy technology
Job shadowing can also lead to part-time or full-time employment at one of our stores nationwide. Our Walgreens pharmacy technician training program is nationally accredited and recognized as a high-quality training program that trains our technicians to work in our pharmacies.

And if you join the Walgreens team as a pharmacy employee, you may be eligible for our unique Educational Assistance Programs once enrolled in pharmacy school.
