Question: What remedies can I use to safely treat my baby's teething pain?
§ Give your baby a teething ring made of firm rubber or a bottle filled with water. Some teething rings can be placed in the freezer so that the cold can help soothe the pain.
It’s important to note that fever is not a sign of teething. If your child is running a fever of 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit or more (measured orally; rectal temperatures can be 0.5 to 1 degree higher), contact your doctor and report any other signs of illness.
