These vitamins taste great and are easy to use. Only negative is as others have said -- having to take them so often. I take 2 in the morning and 2 at night instead of throughout the day, I'm sure it doesn't make too much of a difference. If it does, oh well, at least I am taking them.

I was suggested this product, I was going to buy it as word of mouth is the best sale. Anyway I currently take GNC Women's Ultra Mega vitamins I compared the labels.... look for your self the vitamins are almost all at 25% RDA that's rediculous. The GNC brand is 100-5000% on all the viamins. I suggest you save your money, you'd have to take four to get at least the requirement. Dont fall for the label!

I use this product daily as a nutritional supplement. It is designed for people that have had the bariatric surgery and I find that it has all that I need to maintain healthy levels of vitamins and minerals. I could feel the tug of not having it for over a month while I waited for my shipment to come. I would reccommend this vitamin to anyone who has had the gastric by-pass or lap-band procedure. It is wonderful. The only thing at this time that is a drawback is that it is hard to come by since it is only sold at Walgreens. I reccommend that you purchase at least 3 months at a time so you have time to order when you are opening month 3 of your supply.

I love this product and I give it a high rating becasue it is the only vitamin supplement that I need.

I had weight loss surgery in Ypsilanti MI, on Monday, July 14, Dr. Schram. My Nutrionist approved these vitamins for my post bariatric daily use. They taste great, go down easily but you do have to take 2 in morning and 2 afternoon. I think they are a bit pricey but I will continue to use them as they gave me no problems during digestion and flavor was great.

I've been using OptiSource for at least 3 years and am about 5-1/2 years since gastric bypass. The importance of proper vitamin nutrition can't be stressed enough for us. That portion of the intestine that we are now missing is what helps our bodies absorb iron, calcium, B12 and other goodies. All calcium is not equal in our bodies, and you shouldn't take calcium and iron together. Nevermind trying to keep up those B12 levels.

Optisource did all the work for us. Their formulation works so that we can take one type of vitamin without worrying about who, what, when and were. I started Optisource after showing low B12 and iron levels on various other regimens. Since starting I have not had ONE blood test showing my levels low. I love the way they taste and spread the 4 of them throughout the day as a sort of mini-treat.

There are similar vitamins out there - one brand is actually sold by the physician and staff performing the surgery! How self-serving can you get, folks?? Make sure you do your homework before taking any supplements or protein shakes.

I can't recommend these highly enough!!

I just had the Lap-Band and these vitamins are easy to chew, don't taste too bad and are highly recommended by my bariatric physician. One of the only vitamin for post bariatric patients that had all the nutrients that are needed in one pill.

I like these because they replaced two products I used to take: my tablet multivite, and dry ADEKS. I was looking around because the water soluble chewable ADEKs were becoming hard to find. Have not found any cons after nearly 3 years use post op. I keep sample bottles in purse, close at work, etc and refill as needed so they are available. The taste and texture better than the tums I took before surgery. I like the convenience and price of not buying all the individual supplements. As an RN, I give samples to patients who are not aware of them, samples to MD's who may recommend them to their patients. I just plain love 'em.

These vitamins are required becaue I had gastric bypass surgery. If I had my choice I would rather have a once a day pill or something I could swallow and not chew. Proper vitamin supplementation after bariatric surgery can be tricky, but these chewable tablets make it very easy. They don't have that 'chalky' taste that lots of chewables do, and the citrus flavor is pleasant. It's nice to be able to get the high doses of certain vitamins without the risk of overdosing on others - all from the same bottle.

My doctor recommended 4 tablets daily (for the rest of my life) as part of my nutritional plan after bariatric surgery. At first, I thought they tasted like "Tang" (the man made orange juice). It took a week or so for me to become accustomed to the flavor, but I now I don't go a day without them. Not only do they provide a minimum of 100% of EVERY possible vitamin and mineral, they also seem to ward off sickness. I've only had one cold in 2.5 years. These are the BEST EVER! I love the fact that with one product I receive my iron, calcium and B12 with each daily dose. I don't have to have three different bottles of vitamins. I finally found the vitamins I needed with the needed iron, without the horrible side effects of iron, and it is tasty and no problems with swollowing big pills as it is chewable.

had my surgery 2+ years ago and used this product from day one! Love it! I take one tablet after each meal... the orange taste is so good! it's like dessert! It has never bothered my stomach, in fact, sometimes it helps to settle my stomach... great product!

I had a very hard time swallowing so many vitamins as a fresh post op gastric bypass patient. These vitamins are great because they are chawable and take great. The only down side is remembering to take them 4 times a day. But, it's still so many fewer tablets than the other brands I tried.

I never liked the thought of chewable vitamins but these are actually tasty! My blood work came back fine and that certainly wasn't due to eating because I am not on good terms with food yet. I'm grateful that I found Optisource chewable vitamins!

I have been using Optisource vitamins every since my surgey two years ago and will for the rest of my life. They were recommended by my doctor. Use these or Prenatal vitamins. I find them to work much better then the Prenatal and my blood work always comes back great.

These vitamins were recommended by my surgeon and dietician before and after gastric bypass surgery. They are easy to chew and swallow, taste good, and do not upset my stomach or digestive sytem. All my blood tests following surgery have shown that I have no vitamin deficiencies. I will continue to use these vitamins for the rest of my life.

I've been taking them since my GBP may 2005. the only times I have missed taking them was while in the Hospital with other problems and ya know they have to give it or ya don't take it.. by far the best vitamin I have ever used. The only PIA is the ordering on line sucks when you forget and run out!!

I had GBS in July/2006 and have been taking these since then. Good taste. I like to nibble them--nice texture. Helps slow down hair loss after this surgery. My labs have all been great while taking these---feeling good.
