This loose mineral powder is very buildable. It can provide light to medium coverage depending on how much you apply. It covered the few zits and acne scars I had and provided a nice glowing look.
However, I agree with the other reviewers that it is very hard to completely remove this makeup from your face. I wash my face twice a day, and at night use a toner if I wore makeup that day. This makeup was still coloring the cotton ball that I used for the toner two days after application! If it stays on the face that long, I'm sure it can't be good for the pores.

this is the worst makeup i've ever used!!! it made me breakout horribly and made my existing pimples worse!! And as any powder , it accentuated my dry spots and looked gross. It was also very inconvenient to use, the cap with sifter was sooo small, if i swirled the brush too fast, the stuff would fly everywhere! And because it wouldn't fit any other brush, i had to use that terrible scratchy brush that came with it, and it irritated my face, bottom line.....i'll stick with Organic Wear makeup for now....
This stuff is horrable. I am 14,and everytime i wore it, u could tell i was wearing it. it is very powdery, an just a waste. this sucks. do not waste your money on this, if u do, its your loss. if u buy it, it will b very dissapionting. I do recommend max pan-stick foundation, it is very light, and makes yor skin look sooooooooooo soft! it is the best. u dont even feel it on your face
Buffs deep into the skin and feels like a mask. Extremely difficult to take off. Nothing like what it advertises; I would definitely never buy this again. Very noticeable/unnatural.
I'm 14 and a freshman in high school! Okay, so my absoulute favorite foundation in the world is Loreal Mineral Foundation. I have a little acne scarring and usually makeup doesn't totally cover them and this does! It looks really natural if you get the right shade! I swear by it! All I do after that is apply a lot of mascara and maybe a little eyeliner on the inside rim of the eyes on the bottom lid. Because the foundation works sooooooo well that's all I need! And it doesn't look cakey! Ok, hope this helps!!!

This product is really great. The key to using it is to make sure that your moisturizer is not tacky to the touch. Also make sure you tap the brush to get excess powder off. Then just start swirling. If you have a blemish, just take your fingertip and tap the powder on it and blend. This product works really well for me. Take advantage of Walgreens buy one get one free. No one beats Walgreens when it comes to sales. You can buy the foundation, then get the blush for free!! (By the way, the blush is great, too!!)

I don't have much luck finding foundations that look natural and match my skin tone. When I found this product I finally hit the jack pot. This foundation is light, looks natural, lasts long, doesn't smear off and matches my skin tone perfectly. In fact, my sister and I have different skin tones and this one color matches us both. I have it in Sun Beige. I am a Hispanic/white mix so anyone with a medium tan skin color might want to try it in this color. This foundation is great for all skin-types but I definitely recommend it for those with oily or combination skin because it's powdery and won't make your oily skin look worse like most liquid foundations do. Also, this foundation does not make me break out like other foundations sometimes do. The only bad thing about this product is that it doesn't cover very well if you have trouble spots like acne or scarring. I have a couple of spots on my face that need extra coverage, so I've found that applying a bit of concealor or liquid foundation to the trouble spots undearneath this mineral foundation works well for complete coverage.
A tip: Make sure to tap off loose product from the brush after dipping. You only need a light layer and applying more than needed will result in a bit blotchy, less natural look.

I have personally made is my goal in this lifetime to find the perfect mineral makeup, so when I tell you that I've tried alot of them...I'VE TRIED ALOT OF THEM!! This one is special...when you first put it on it looks flawless but after about an hour or so, you have a thick messy layer of goop on your face. Also, god forbid that you get some on your closes, it almost take mineral spirits to get it out. It flys everywhere and creates a smudge when you try to wipe it up, so that should tell you about what kind of lethal stuff is in it. It has bismuth in it which in my case, gives me the ichies on my face. Overall, stay away from this product! It's not even worth trying...it clogs poor...messy...hard to get off and irritates the skin...need I say more!

I bought this because I have a hard time finding makeup that doesn't break my sensitive skin out. In the two weeks I have been using it, I haven't had one breakout and my skin looks fabulous. I get compliments all the time about how great my skin looks "now that I don't wear makeup". It goes on super easy and lasts all day for me. Instead of the 10-15 minutes it was taking me to use my base, concealer, powder, blush, loose powder, eye shadow and mascara...now it takes 5 or less depending on if I need extra coverage for dark cicles. (I'm a mom...LOL!!) I love the eyeshadows because they don't make my eyes itch like so many other brands.
I have always strayed from powders because I am a woman of color and dark skinned. They never make a powder that truely fits our skin tones. It usually comes off red rather than brown. With the mineral make-up i get a flawless coverage. L'oreal in general has kept my skin bump free and i love their products.

Sometimes I apply this on top of my liquid makeup and other times I use this with daily moistuer. It does cover my redness and does not stay on for a long period of time.
I use this make-up every day once in the morning and once after work... My skin looks flawless... every thing is wonderful;)
the product works well but by the end of the day it feels as if it's clogging pores.
This make up is quick and easy to apply. Great for everyday on the go, AND a night out as well! I even love the way my face looks in pics with this makeup! Highly recommend!!
This foundation is an overall good product. I have to say that it is very easy to put too much of this product on and it can look cakey. But if you only use a little which goes a long way, it will look smooth, natural, and almost insvisible. Although more shade choices would be nice on the darker side of the color spectrum.

I don't wear a lot of make up because I think make up is contrived and fake looking. I don't like to look made up but I have very red cheeks and some odd scars on my face to deal with. So I was out with my sister helping her pick make up and I ended up getting this for myself (she bought something else) It covers all of my red so well that for the first time in my life, I had to buy some cheek color. I have NEVER worn blush before. Ever. I actually bought glow because I still don't want the made up look. It looks very natural on me and I've been getting compliments on my skin left and right. Best of all, most people can't tell I have anything on my face.
The only cons to me are that I have to wash it off before working out. Once I forgot and I got a streak down the side of my face that wasn't so pretty. Also I've been swirling in the sifter and that often has too much make up in it so I'll try swirling in the cap now.
The trick with this stuff is not to use hardly any of it. If you use too much it's going to look cakey and like anything it's going to clog your pores. Less is more! Make sure you only swirl a tiny bit into the brush and then tap most of it off.
BTW, my sister is switching to this after seeing how well it's worked for me.

If you can't find your shade, you can blend to colors pretty easy by shaking a pinch of two shades into a clean jar. Also for people who have extra dry skin after you apply the foundation powder simply use a clean wet sponge and pat your face. It blends the foundation better and moisturizes your skin.

At first when I got this product, the results were amazing. It covered great, looked natural, my skin looked flawless. Then I began to notice it wore off pretty quickly when I was working, and it had a tendency to dry my skin somewhat. After a while of using it, it no longer makes my skin appear fresh and natural. Not long after I apply it, it appears very dull on my skin even when I try to spruce it up with blush.My normally oily to slightly dry skin with a relatively clear complexion is now slightly broken out after using this product. So seems great at first, but not so great after a while.
Well after watching, ads on tv for bare minerals i decided i wanted to try it because i hate liqiud foundation. So after reading all the good reviews fro this i thought i would give it a try, I got this and and the "Finish" ( which by the way is not transparent and doesnt work) The first time i put it on it was a bit tricky but i got the hang of it after a while and was able to blend nicely. But its really not that great of a product, it can still have that " powdery" look through out the day, not matter how much or little i put on. It makes large pores more noticable, can dry out skin even with mosturizer on, Being teenager i have acne and it kinda covered it up but it made my acne so much worse it got so many white heads it was so embarrassing,The last bad thing i will say about it is makes my skin look dull most of the time even if i use blush or something to try and give it a healthy natural look. The stuff i did like about it was that it blended very good, was very quick to apply, lasted pretty much the whole day ( and sometimes even when my face gets wet most of it is still on), easy to take off, was pretty smooth.
It was great at first, but after a couple of weeks I began to breakout. I never have problems with breaking out. After I stopped using the product my skin returned to normal.

LOREAL HAS JUST INTRODUCED A NEW FORMULA FOR THIS PRODUCT THAT HAS NO TALC OR PRESERVATIVES. SO IT IS NOW MUCH BETTER FOR YOUR SKIN.
I would recommend this product because for the most part its good because you dont feel like you are wearing make-up but I do not like the coverage without concealer

Before I wised up, I tried this Loreal product. It looked great on my skin, blended well, and the packaging couldn't have been more convenient; it was so affordable, too. Then I learned a few ugly truths about cosmetics. Among other things, this product contains talc and dimethicone, which is a silicone. These are major comedogens, essentially sealing your pores with all that dirt, oil and talc in them. No wonder that, after a month or two using this, my face became filled with millia, blackheads and pimples. I now use a true and pure mineral powder and, surprise: No Clogged Pores Anymore. Do your homework on cosmetic ingredients (and the company's record for animal testing!) when considering sacrificing your skin's health for appearance's sake. You'll be glad you did; I sure am.
i spent lots of money on bare escentuals mineral makeup and hated it...it sunk ionto lines and caked up with my oily skin. im only 28 but it made me look 38 in les than 2 hours...looked even worse in the daylight. i bought bare naturale for quick cover ups, and decided to use it all over. it never caked, it never got into lines and made me look fabulous...i had my teen skin back again! using it is so easy...takes mintues off my makeup routine, and its less expensive than that silly bare escentuals stuff.
Im 18 and tend to break out occasionally. When i 1st began to use this product it worked soo well. It had great coverage and looked very natural. BUTTTTTT.....it does ruin your skin and cause breakouts. I never broke out on my cheeks. Maybe one pimple a month on my cheek. It wasnt so bad. Then i noticed wen i started wearing the minal powder and applying it to my cheeeks...i got so much blackheads and pimples!!. I read online that talc is bad for your skin. I wouldnt suggest people with acne prone skin to use it. The product claims it doesnt clog pores, but reasearch says that the ingredient talc does, which is in this product. Overall if you have sensitve acne prone skin...dont use itt!!... Im thnking of using the Physicians formula talc free mineral powder. Thats probably more better suited for my skin.

I never dreamed I would STOP using heavy coverage liquid foundation. This product looks so very natural and is fun. I cannot wait to do my cosmetic routine in the morning. It does not rub off on my clothing, or melt in the heat. It has changed the texture of my skin. My skin is now beautiful and healthy at 43, I can even go without makeup now!My husband raves about how natural and beautiful my makeup looks. I tried it on our 12 year old daughter and she looked stunning. This is a must for everyone. The females on our Christams list are getting a full set!
After reading reviews here, I took advantage of a wonderful sale that [...] was having, buy one get one free....I bought my whole set at half price!!!! I've used it for three weeks now, wanted to wait that long before writing a review. I love it, it's easy, it's clean feeling and you have to use so little to get the desired effect. The only con, I have never had any breakouts at all as an adult and since using the product I get a small bump here and there. I'm hoping that my skin will adapt and that will taper off...it's not a huge breakout, just a bump or two, but I never had them before at all.

I have combination skin, so it's difficult for me to find makeup that works for me. This powder works great on my dry areas AND my oily T-zone. I really like the fact that this powder works great with or without liquid foundation. I've tried more expensive brands such as Bare Escentuals, and this product works much better for me at a lower price.
I love this product!
I, too, tried Bare Escentuals years ago but found the product shiny and seemed to melt off. Even multiple applications of the mineral veil couldn't keep the shine down.
Yet I've always loved the idea of mineral cosmetics, light and quick to apply. And one would think better for oily type skin.
Well, this L'oreal product really is! It applies more evenly and stays in place. To my surprise and delight --all day! I apply the translucent powder at midday and if I'm going out at night I'll apply it once before I step out. That's it.
Another nice benefit is that I've been suffering from a relentless case of adult acne. I've even tried Proactiv cosmetics to try and keep breakouts to a minimum. While it did do better than conventional cosmetics, this L'oreal product blows even the Proactiv cosmetic away for me. I've had little to no new breakouts. I'm delighted!
I like the packaging concept, with the brush attached to the lid. The foudation brush is a little rough, but the translucent and shadow brushes are super soft.
Tip: Use a very little amount of product and swirl the brush into the powder until you cannot see it any more. Tap it to remove any loose powder, then swirl it in small circles all over your skin.
Dispensing tip: I noticed a few reviews where folks were struggling with loose powder mess. I gently tap the powder into the cap (it's a big, clear cap like a cup). Then tap it to a corner of the cup and tap the small pile back into the base. Now you can swirl your brush in it. This allows me to shake it out powder but keep it contained. And keeps my counter/sink clean!
It took a few days to get used to it and get into the groove, but I'm VERY happy with the results. It's soft, it's natural (when I don't over apply!!!), it's silky to the touch. Love it!
I hated the feeling of my liquid makeup sliding off my face by the end of the day. With this, I head home from work, still looking like I'd just started the day. It even works REALLY well with my horribly oily T zone.
My only quibble is that my counter is decently powdered by the time I'm done using the Bare Naturales.
This is by far the best foundation makeup I have found to date. Like others, I have oily skin and the coverage is wonderful. It used to take me 20-30 minutes to put my makeup on now I can put makeup on in 10 minutes or less. I wondered what the Bare Minerals was like, now I know and I didn't have to spend a lot of money!!!

I've used lots of other mineral products before. Came accross this one by accident. Absolutely love it. It does great on oily skin. The eye shadows are really great also. Stay put all day and don't crease or clump on my lids.

I really liked the coverage the first few days and friends and family commented on how good my makeup looked. Co-workers accused me of having a date after work becaused I looked nice. Then after about 3 or 4 days use, the color no longer matched my skin tone as it had the few days prior, in fact, in turned into an entirely other color. I ended up with a color that was very yellow and grayish. Even worse, I had to stop using it and couldn't wear any foundation or anything for days until my skins natural moisture balance recovered. I had huge bumps which were due to clogged pores, blackheads and my skin was so dry it hurt. Not worth the 3 days of compliments, I looked like I had bad acne, something I've never experienced before. Absolutely horrible. If your skin is even slightly on the dry side, I wouldn't recommend this, oilier skin might have better luck.
This stuff was terrible!! It was so cakey and didn't look natural at all! And i had alot of trouble getting a shade that matched my skin... also i have oily skin and after wearing it for a hour it looked terrible and seemed to melt off my face!

I have oily skin, acne and redness. This product takes care of it all for me, my skin glows and look so natural. The only thing you have to worry about it blending it in really good.

I have been using this product for a couple of years, probably since it first came out. TIp: wait for [...] to have a buy one get one special,and share with a friend! It is great coverage, feels good on the skin, doesn't clog pores, and fast to use. I like it!!! The only problem is it is sometimes messy, and the brush is sort of hard.

Absolutely incredible coverage in my opinion. I had been a Bare Minerals user for years, but got tired of my order taking WEEKS to arrive. I tried this product by Loreal, and have been amazed. The coverage is excellent, even better than Bare Minerals. I have very splotchy skin, and this product goes on smooth and covers the imperfections effortlessly! Wonderful! I do wear a moisturizer and it does seem to help the drying aspect of the product.

I do not like having to mess with liquid foundations, and I have always wished that concealer and powder had better coverage. I like that this product is like regular powders, but gives better coverage. I think it takes less time to put my make up on in the morning now.

I am a 37 Year old women and I live in a HOT & HUMID Climate and this make-up stays on even through my sweating . I also suffer from Hot FLashes, and again it stays on through sweating. I am a simple person and don't like to take alot of time getting ready , I also didn't like to wear make-up before because i always felt like i had a mask on . I had stopped wearing any make-up , until I found this product ,It is so easy and Fast and Feels Great on . I have freckles and I used to try liquid make-up to cover them and had little succes & the "mask", heavy feeling and cakeiness look . This product feels like i don't have on any make-up , it covers my freckles and it appears as though i have nothing but a little blush on . This product makes me look forward to getting fixed up for my husband and my own self esteem booster !! All I can say is that this is the best make-up i have ever had . If u want to look natural and feel natural with maximam coverage?Then Buy This product .It's cheap enough to at least try it considering it will last u forever it seems & make u feel awesomely beautiful. My 16 yr.old loves it and it saves me in $$$ because it last so long, plus she doesn't have to use much and therefore she has less break-outs because her skin can breathe,She also has maximam coverage which is very important to her .I could go on and on , but just go and try it. I promise you will love it & never use anything else. I have read the other reviews on here and I have to say , it amazes me at some of the things said.Again you must be at least curious if your reading this so try it for yourself & You will be writting your own reviews on here. I just tried this product for the first time and I am shocked... I typically have dry skin so using a powder has never been something I was fond of doing. I decided to give this a try and I love the results. I have little spider veins by my nose, and I haven't even been able to get a concealer to cover them up. First application of this, and poof!!! They are no longer visible and it doesn't make the dry areas look flakey. Very impressed with the results!
i have had this for awhile i am almost out of my first purchase, i have found that this is very frustrating to get the makeup thru the holes to get the makeup on the brush to use. when i try to tap of excess it mostly makes a mess on my countertop. I have spent more time cleaning up the mess from the makeup than actually getting to wear it. When i put it on it looks cakey even after moisturizer is applied and has dried completely. Doesn't feel good on the skin, and have to use alot to see any color. Other readers are correct this doesn't cover anything. I have tried physicians formula talc mineral powder and have found i like that much better it actually feels very silky on your skin.
When you get the hang of how to put it on, it works great, The coverage is amazing, and its so light weight, I dont even know im wearing it

I have melasma also known as the "mask of pregnancy" typically this condition should go away right around 3 months after the baby is born, however my baby is 8 years old, yes 8 it never went away. I have spent years searching for a product that will cover my melasma. I have a ton of liquid and powder makeup that went on thick and cakey and have spent years feeling very ulgy. BUT with this product I (not to sound concetied) think I look beautiful. It covers and looks like I have on very little. I can wear it swimming and most of it stays on and continues look to good. People know something is different but most just can't put thier finger on it. They ask me if I have lost weight, if I am getting more rest, and what is different about me. I LOVE TIHS PRODUCT.
Great product. Would recommend to anyone.

I've been wanting to try the mineral foundation. I couldn't believe it could actually be any good and guess what, it isn't. It's absolutely worthless unless, I suppose, you have flawless skin to begin with - I don't. Would also be a pain to carry in your purse for touchups.

I was interested in finding a mineral makeup that was less expensive... so, i found this and tried it. i hate wearing heavy makeup and this was exactly what it was. it was heavy, and i could actually feel it on my face when smiled! it didnt do anything to help my face, actually, the applicator was so rough it made my cheeks even more bumpy. if your skin is sensitive and you dont like heavy makeup, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! another thing i noticed, its impossible to find your perfect shade! none of the colors really match!

I have tried the Bare Essentials Powder make-up, which is very costly. I sent it back, as I tried the Loreal and like the way it covers better. Bare Essentials had a shiny/shimmery look, which I did not like. The Loreal has more of a smooth, natural look and I got SO many more compliments with the Loreal. I live in the South and it is humid in the summer and this is the best I have ever had and will continue using it a very long time!!

I love the way it covers. I have some scars from mild acne and it actually gave me a great even look. Great Product.
Living in what is mostly a hot and humid area, I had given up on liquid foundations altogether. I hated the "moist cake" effect left by liquids, and yet my skin is very fair, so using only concealer and powder was not enough to me. I attempted Loreal's Bare Natural, and to my utter surprise, I fell in love with it! Who knew that a lightweight mineral powder could give such flawless, even coverage. No liquids, no sponges, no spilling and staining, just a fresh look that doesn't cake and weigh my skin down. Definitely give it a try!

I used to use Max Factor Pan stick to hide my freckles but it is very thick and heavy. I tried Bare Minerals but thought it looked to shiny/shimmery. Then I found Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation and I'm never going back to liquid or stick foundation. It goes on so smooth, looks great and wears all day. People are always commenting on my nice skin - dare I tell them it's Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral Foundation instead of me??

WOW! I love this powder! I was used to purchasing expensive powders thinking they were much better that those sold by convenient stores, but believe me ... none of them have been so good like this one! I love it! The brush is very high quality material and is great because you aren't pulling you skin like do usually do with sponges! The coverage is great and I didn't even have to reapply throughout the day. It looks very natural but at the same time covers very well. I highly recommend it to everyone! Hope this helped!
Tricky to apply at first, excellent coverage, BUT includes talc, parabens and bismuth oxychloride which all are said to be bad for your skin....

I HAVE A MILD CASE OF ROSACEA AND I HAVE BEEN USING LIQUID FOUNDATIONS FOR YEARS. ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO I DISCOVERED A HIGH END MINERAL MAKEUP THAT SEEMED TO COVER MY REDNESS. THE ONLY PROBLEM I FOUND WAS THAT THE PRODUCT AND MY DRY SKIN DID NOT MIX. IT SOMETIMES WOULD LOOK CAKEY ON THE AREAS WHERE I WOULD HAVE TO PUT MORE FOR COVERAGE. IN ESSENCE THE MAKEUP WAS DRY. THEN I DISCOVERED THIS PRODUCT AND THE FIRST TIME I USED IT, JUST A LITTLE TOOK CARE OF MY WHOLE FACE AND HAD COMPLETELY NATURAL COVERAGE. IT IS LIGHT SO MY SKIN CAN BREATH AND NOT AS DRY AS OTHER MINERAL FOUNDATIONS I HAVE TRIED. THIS PRODUCT IS VERY WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND SEEMS TO LAST FOREVER. I WEAR IT EVERY DAY AND I JUST RAN OUT AFTER 6 MONTHS. IT WORKED AS WELL AND WAS AS FRESH AS THE FIRST DAY I BOUGHT IT. JUST REMEMBER THAT VERY LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY!!!!
For years I used Estee Lauder foundation, then L'Oreal came out with a similar formula that was just as good at a much better price. As I age, I looked to upgrade my product and once again, it was L'Oreal to the rescue. Recently I wanted to try a mineral product so for a few months now I have been using Bare Minerals which is quite expensive albeit a good product. I am ecstatic to say that after trying L'Oreal Bare Naturale that they have exceeded Bare Minerals with this product. It goes on better and provides much better coverage. And, once again, the price is also easier on the pocket! Thank you L'Oreal for providing beauty products for those of us who appreciate quality and are savvy enough to know we don't have to pay those exorbitant prices to have it. I use many L'Oreal cosmetic products and they truly measure up.

I found this foundation improved my skin gradually. It provides great coverage and reduces shine for many hours. The bottle can be a bit cumbersome, especially if you want to throw it in a little pocketbook. It can be messy due to the fact that it is loose powder. Can get on your clothes or anywhere else during application.

I just used this product today. It was a little akward at first as I was used to liquid foundation.Turn it upside down to apply well to brush then shake off excess.It stayed on all day and made my skin look good. Ask the makeup person to show you a color bar that you can put on your skin to get the correct color. I like the way it is less messy than liquid foundation.
I THINK I HAVE TRIED THEM ALL. ALL MINERAL FONDATIONS ARE NOT THE SAME. MOST ARE NOT GROUND INTO A FINE SILKY POWDER, THEY ARE NO MORE THAN TALC! THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT! BE SURE TO USE A
MOISTURIZER FIRST. MY FACE LOOKS AS FRESH IN THE EVENING AS IT DID WHEN I APPLIED IT AT 7AM.
TIP: USE A BLOTTING TISSUE DURING THE DAY IF YOU GET SHINY. FACIAL OIL WILL RUIN ANY MAKEUP. THIS PRODUCT IS SUPERIOR TO THOSE SOLD ON THE SHOPPING NETWORKS. TRY IT!

I have been wanting to try the mineral make-up but didn't want to pay that much if it didn't work. I ran to the store to get this product before going out, I was amazed. It only took minutes.Flawless,covered great. I dont wear make up alot but I think I will now. Price was just a couple dollars more than the others but well worth it. Think I will try the blush next!

This almost has the effects of bare minerals without paying$[...]. It is tricky to put on @ first. Make sure you tap the excess off the brush. A little goes a long way. Once you mastered applying it, your face will thank you for it!

I decided to pick this up when I wanted a product that I could leave in my desk drawer for touch ups...the packaging sold me. And now the product has me sold...it goes on easily with little to no mess and stays on all day for that natural look. I went a shade lighter than normal. I use to wear that familiar mineral based make up line...not any more. Thank you L'Oreal!

I have been wanting to try a bare mineral foundation for years. When I saw this one and saw that it was at such a reasonable price, I decided to try it. I love it! It lasts all day and looks so natural. My daughter, who decided to try the soft Ivory, Looks great with it on. It matched her skin complection perfectly as did the buff beige for me!

Nice light weight product. You do have re apply it through out the day, but it's very nice on with a nice soft glow.

I dont wear a lot of makeup because I always hated the way liquid foundation looked. This mineral makeup is perfect for that natural look I like and it offers nice coverage. I did find that if I dont moisturize before using it, it can look a bit chalky. Also if I need more coverage I use a concealer underneath. Overall, I think its a really good product.

I have never used this type of foundation before so it took me a couple of times to get the coverage right. The key is shake off the excess and build your coverage. It's fabulous coverage!
this product goes on great, but certainly does not last. I had to reply every few hours.
This is agreat product that feels good too. And It's a great price as well!!

The product is good, I just think that the mineral powder could have been a little finer in texture. I have never used a mineral foundation product, so I wasn't too sure what too expect. I would have picked a shade lighter than what I did. But you certainly can't argue the price and it's a quick and simple product to use; provides decent coverage, too. I would use this product again in a lighter shade and would purchase other brands to compare.

I love using this product. I have a smaller brush that I use on problem spots. I would also recommend you wash the brush weekly. Mine seemed to cake up and application didnt go as smoothly.

It took a little more time to apply because I need a little extra coverage for some veins around my nose but it was well worth the effort because the veins disappeared without leaving a made up look. In fact, I haven't seen my skin look this good since junior high and I am 30! I love it and find the price to be afordable. I just wish they had more color selections for different skin tones because none is light enough for my sister...she has beautiful, almost translucently pale skin where I am more olive.

This foundation is Wonderful! I didn't believe it would give the coverage I need because of my rosacea but it DOES! It's very quick and easy to apply and I recomend it highly.

I apply the product to zits with a large eyeshadow brush and it keeps them dry and covered. Great for humid/ hot weather. Feels slightly tacky to the touch when applied heavily or over wet moisturizer.
I wouldn't put this under the eyes as concealer as it could dry out delicate skin.
For very pale complexions, the lightest shade may be too dark and yellowing. The company should make a "Meg White" white!

Bare Naturale blended well on my skin and i have a horrible complexion. A little DOES go a long way and it stays on all day. Also, it's probably not good to sleep in makeup but when i wake up this is still on my face! So i love it!

I found this product to be messy, too dark, and have an unnatural undertone to it. It didn't blend well either. This wasn't worth the money in my opinion. I'll stick with my current brand.

I used the colormatch system offered on the L'oreal website. They matched me with light Ivory, since I normally use a classic, or warmer based Ivory product. However, the light Ivory was much too yellow and dark for my skin. Neutrogena Mineral Sheers, in fair to light was a much better match for my skin tone, and cheaper too.

I have used Bare Essentuals Bare Minerals makeup for years and love it. When L'oreal introduced their version of the mineral powder foundation, I thought "How different can it be?"
VERY different I found out. This foundation is dry, chalky, and totally unflattering. It blends terribly and makes your skin look worse than it did before you put it on (completely the opposite of Bare Minerals). I strongly advise against this product. Spend the extra $[...] and get the real deal from Bare Essentuals.
