THIS STUFF IS TERRIBLE. IT IS STICKY AND IT REALLY BURNS MY LIPS I HAVE BEEN BLESSED WITH HAVING FEVER BLISTER FROM TIME TO TIME AND I WILL NOT USE IT. I USE ABREVA BUT TO EACH HIS OWN BUT FOR ME I WILL STICK TO ABREVA. AND IF MY LIPS GET DRY I USE THE BEST LIP PROTECTANT MADE NATURAL ICE . IT IS THE BOMB IT IS NOT GREASY IT KEEPS LIPS MOISTS AND DOES NOT JUST SIT ON YOUR LIPS. IT IS THE BEST.

Although it has alcohol as an ingredient, and burns
when first applied, it quickly dries and reduces pain.

Nothing heals fever blisters instantly, but this helps the
process along.
