Place tea leaves and hot water inside.  Steep according to taste.  Placing teapot atop a pitcher opens a valve at the bottom.  Tea flows down.  Add ice and serve.  Toss the leaves, and place teapot in dishwasher.  Safe in both microwave and dishwasher.
