Cons: Hard to find in my area

My 7 year old daughter has very coarse hair that is hard on both of us when its time to wash. I was amazed and the difference in how easy it was to do her hair after using the softening system. It was gentle enough that she didn't have any discomfort and now we can go swimming and have fun with cheerleading without the worry of the dreaded "shampoo time". I highly encourage this product!

Frizz turned into Curls

I am going through menopause and my hair texture has changed. My relaxed hair use to be silky straight but now is a frizzy mess. This product has turned my relaxed frizz into beautiful curls. I don't know what I would have done without this product. Thank God i found this product.

Great for natural hair

I reviewed this product when I was transitioning from relaxed hair to natural. Now that I'm 100% natural, I can say this product is even better now than it was when the texture was mixed . This lotion provides excellent moisture and just enough hold to make my braidouts look great. For just washed hair, it helps with the detangling but also gives my curls great definition. To combat shrinkage, I use only this lotion with no water for a dry braidout and my hair stretches nicely but still has the hold I need to maintain a frizz free hairdo all day. I do use my favorite hair oil with it to add extra shine, but so far, other than my home made leave in concoctions, I love this stuff. The consistency is thin so if you like the thick stuff, this isn't for you. For me, thick lotions sometimes leave more build up so I prefer this. Great price, smells good and a little goes a long way.

Pros: Non Sticky, Smells Great, super cheap, A little goes a long way, relaxes the frizz leaves the curl, ev olive oil a nice plus

I am transitioning from relaxed to natural hair (no relaxer touch up since Sept 2009) and have been having the hardest time finding products and styles that will work with hair that's half straight/half curly. I heard about Kids Organics Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizer with Olive Oil from several bloggers and thought I'd try it. What a nice surprise. This product has restored my sanity! It does an excellent job of softening and hydrating my thirsty dry hair. I like a big fluffy afro puff so after twisting about 10 sections of my hair and securing with silk pillow cushion curlers, I use this along with Jane Carter Solution Revitalizing Leave in Conditioner and BAM! I get long lasting spirals that combine the curly and natural hair perfectly. It's not sticky or greasy and gives a bit of shine (though I use IC Ice Pomade to give my hair REAL gloss). The product could build up if I use too much, so I only apply a small amount to each section of hair before I twist. It's light enough to use with straight or natural hair and smells really nice. It's pretty cheap too so that's a plus as well. This has become my go to styling product and think it's a great find.

A MUST HAVE FOR KINKY/CURLY HAIR!

I ran into this product via a friend of mine. I saw how well it detangled her daugher's hair and decided to try it on my own. It's amazing! I used to hate having to detangle my natural hair but this product makes it so easy to comb through. And it smells good too. I showed it to some family and friends and they all love it too! And it's very affordable.
