Pros: Not Stiff

Cons: don't comb or brush until dry!

I really like Vo5 extra body, hard to hold hairspray because it DOES give my very fine thin hair a much fuller, full-bodied look without being stiff. I use it to set my hair while stilll slightly damp. Also to style or re-style. Just be sure it is dry before you try to comb or brush because it can form little white flakes. otherwise it performs BETTER on my hair than most others and doesn't have any strange fragrance that clashes with my perfume.

I am happy to have found this VO5 hairspray formula still in stock at Walgreens.com! It seems that Alberto-Culver is changing the product and now has only one formula spray on the shelves in a purple can wuth no other info. The (old) formula-"extra-body,hard-to-hold" is one I have used for years to set my hair and on the roots as I dry it! It has worked great for yrs. without becoming stiff or hard and is easy to brush and style with!
