Cons: the tube is clumsy

I love VO5 products. Their cheapand easily avaliable, plus they've been around for so long it gives you the assurance of great quality.

I used this hairdressing for a week now and wow what an improvement on my hair. Before I used other hairdressing creams and they always leave my hair dry. I went around researching for something for my white platnium hair. I came across information about this product. I read that Marylin Monroe used this so I said "If it's good enough for her than it's good enough for me" (a product that lasted this long... you know it's good). Very bleached blondes will tell you that the worse part of bleaching is how dry and fry their hair can be. I have bleached my hair to a white platinum blonde, and it's really dry, but this product saved me from cutting my long hair short. I just add a small quarter size amount on the palm of my hand, rub it between my fingers and apply it where is needed. I would use it mainly on half of the hair and near to the roots. The roots have their own oils. If you add this stuff to your roots you will have a grease look and your hair will fall flat.

The product itself is a thick paste (think toothpaste) and has a fresh scent to it. The cream is a dark blue color which will neutralize yellow or brassy colors. I also use this to brighten my white hair and keep it from turning beige or yellow due to washing with bad water. It does an excellent job at this.

I found that this stuff is easier to apply on wet or damp hair. Could apply on dry but be patient at applying it because if done hastly it will cause you to pull your hair out (ouch), Take your time and it's beautiful.

The only thing that bothers me about this product is the tube. It gives too much even when sqeezed a little. It's like a toothpaste tube too. In that it is hard to squeeze the contents out while styling. I agree with the previous reviewer a more modern tube would do a great deal for this product.
