I am fair skined. I used the light shade of almay smart shade makeup. It didn't match my skintone and by days end it turned orange on my skin. I would not recommend this product.

For 30 years have looked and tried products of all kinds. Nothing I have found works as well as Almay's SmartShade Foundation. A little goes a long way so the price is economical. It lasts all day and it does not make your face greasy or shiny. For us older girls, nothing is worse than a buildup of makeup in facelines. Not a good look. This Foundation makes you look youthful! I love that it comes out white and turns color to match your complexion; mine is ruddy in places and this Almay SmartShade foundation covers my whole face in one natural shade - fantastic. Don't know how that works, but I love it. Why Doesnt my Walgreens on 30th & Martin Streets carry it anymore?

I must admit, I was very sceptical to try a "one shade fits all" foundation. I used the light shade and am happy that it blends perfectly with my fair skin. I really like the fact that it has SPF 15 and is not greasy like some other foundations I have used with sun protection. It could cover flaws a little better, but overall, this is a good product in my opinion.

I love this because it perfectly matches my skin color, leaves no lines, can apply more where a little more coverage is needed and leaves a totally natural look!

I have trouble finding the right shade (always pick one that's too light) and this takes care of the problem for me. It matches exactly.
It has very sheer coverage, though, and I feel it works best in the summer when I have more color in my face.
