Pros: Lightweight, Moisturizing, works well under make up, does not cause breakouts

I LOVE THIS MOISTURIZER! I have used it for about 2 years. Before that I had breakouts often & every moisturizer i used seemed to irritate my skin & make it worse. I have tried everything under the sun.. high end, low end, all natural.. everything. I also use the foaming face wash & love it so I figured I would try this. It is the only moisturizer I have ever tried that I am positive doesn't negatively effect my skin. Plus it is light weight, sinks into my skin so fast, & is moisturizing but works so well under make up as well. Not many places carry it anymore so I am so thankful that Walgreens.com does! I will repurchase over & over!

Alpha Hydrox Sheer Silk Moisturizer SPF 15 is the best I've used in the past 20 years! And I've tried several!
The only disadvantage is the container. The lid cracks and starts losing chunks the first time you pack it to travel somewhere. I hope the container lid can be improved in the future.

No AHA in this product

I would think a product with the name Alpha Hydrox would actually contain alpha hydroxy acid. This product doesn't. This product is really no different than any other basic sunscreen moisturizer on the market.

If you want a product with actual alphy hydroxy acid / glycolic acid, try their souffle or one of their many other products that actually contain AHAs. Just be aware that this isn't one of them.
