On a stormy December night over ten years ago, my house rabbit, Charlie (the half-sister of Bernie, the Rabbit of Approval) saved our lives. Terrified by a small explosion in the kitchen, a panicked Charlie scurried into the room where I was sleeping, waking me. We were having a storm with high winds, which knocked down tree limbs damaging the power lines. A power surge caused the small explosion that frightened Charlie; the explosion was my microwave oven being "fried"! Virtually every other electrical appliance in the house died quietly - except my microwave. I hadn't touched a microwave since that winter night over ten years ago. That is, until our customers started making requests for a microwaveable macaroni and cheese.
As a busy mom, I appreciate my re-discovery of the microwave and am pleased that Annie's now offers a nutritious, great-tasting single-serving microwaveable macaroni and cheese. This product is made with organic pasta and the best totally natural white cheddar cheese. All you need is water, a microwave and less than 5 minutes to create a nutritious, quick lunch at home or at the office, an after-school snack, a tasty treat for your toddler, or a bowl of "brain" food for late night study sessions. Water, microwave, less than 5 minutes - that's it!

Directions: Microwave Only
- Pour Annie's Organic Macaroni into a medium microwaveable bowl.
- Microwave macaroni and water uncovered on high for 3 minutes or until macaroni is tender. DO NOT DRAIN. Caution: Bowl and macaroni will be very hot!
- Add Annie's Real Cheddar Cheese Sauce & stir well. Let stand 1 minute; cheese sauce will thicken upon standing. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking time is approximate.
For Two Servings:
Pour 2 Annie's Macaroni pouches into a 1 quart microwaveable bowl. Add 1 cup water. Microwave on high 4 minutes or until macaroni is tender. Continue as directed, adding 2 Annie's Real Cheese Sauce pouches.
For Richer Flavor:
Stir in 1 Tbsp. milk and 1 tsp. unsalted butter or margarine after mixing in the cheese sauce.
