Not Like the Original - But Stilll Great

Pros: Easy To Use, Effective, Good Value

While I agree with the other reviewers that the new can and smell are not like the original one, when I think of how the other hairsprays have performed when I tried them - this one is really superior.

The spray holds the hair pretty well - although not as strongly as before. But - it does not Flake like the other brands I have tried. That is a real positive for me.

I did not give it a five star rating because of the two things: not holding as strongly as previously and a stronger smell; Although it does evaporate pretty quickly and does not leave a lingering smell; again - compared to other brands. Another positve for me since I work with many people.

Overall - I will continue to use it and would recommend it. I am a professional and I do not want to be worrying about my hair.

Pros: Good for fine hair, Natural looking result

Cons: Not up to prior type, Limp too soon after use

With fine, straightish, mid-length hair, I have used this brand and type for years. I don't like a 'sticky' look and so I would just style my hair, then bend forward and spray while shaking my head and toss back up while it was drying. The new can has such a weak spray OR, the product has changed, but it just does not leave my hair with the same bounce or hold as it did before. I have recently had better result with other products.

This new can, with the rounded top and smaller cap doesn't seem to be the same as the classic can with the straight sides. The smell is stronger, more floral (not an improvement IMO). The classic can had a lighter scent (even when unscented). In the new can the spray action is weak. In the classic can, when it's new and full, a huge blast comes out; now, in the new can even when it's full, the spray is somewhat weak. Bring back the old style can and old style formula!!!

Pros: Controls Frizz, Strong Hold

I find it a superior product and having respiratory problems, it is better than many "unscented" brands. HOWEVER: A few sprays from the TALL can (shorter ones seem to be ok) and there's no hairspray, just air. It's as though the spray tube is too short to reach the bottom of the can. The pressure is still there, just no liquid. I have tried probably 8 different cans over a few years and the same thing happens. I keep thinking I just got a bad can. I've learned. Although the taller cans are a bargain, do not purchase these. I recommend the brand, just be careful choosing the container.
