I have VERY sensitive skin that can handle only certain products otherwise my skin burns, turns red and blotchy and is just a complete mess. So when I needed a new moisturizer I was dreading it. After reading other peoples reviews of Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizer I decided to give in and try it. Let me just say that it is an amazing product. After using my cleanser (Zapzyt which is wonderful for sensitive skin and my toner (Alpha Hydrox Toner/Astrigent which I been using since I was a teen (i'm now 36) my face has never felt better. I have no redness, it is so smooth and soft. And this is the first moisturizer I ever used that didn't leave my face feeling greasy. It has a scent but it isn't overwhelming. I LOVE this moisturizer and highly recommend it to anyone especially those with sensitive skin.

In my experience, this product does not moisturize very well, but it does greatly reduce redness.
It also makes skin very smooth.
At first it only reduced redness a little bit, but as i continued using it, it got better and better.
It does moisturize slightly, but do not depend on it to reduce the dryness in your skin.

I never used to use moisterizer until I moved to Nevada...desert air is dry and merciless. I bought a few high-end moisterizers but it made my somewhat young skin break out like crazy. I bought this because I found a coupon. It soaks up fast! I like to put it on after sunscreen. It doesn't have a fragrance, which is very important to me. I've been using it over a year and I know it's improved my skin overall. You don't need much so although it's a lil pricey, it'll last. Also my boyfriend shaves everyday and started sneaking this moisterizer at night. It basically eliminated razor burn, and he's tried EVERYTHING out there to get rid of it, and take away the irritation. This is the only product that finally did. Way to go Aveeno! Along with the face cleanser, it's a perfect match. I buy everything Aveeno offers except for the bubble bath. I prefer showers. :)

I've been using this face lotion for almost a year now. I love it. I have rosacea and super sensitive skin. This product does not burn or cause my rosacea to flare up. It really does help the redness too. It goes on great under makeup. The only complaint I have is that I wish it came in an SPF 30. Otherwise I love this stuff and recommend others give it a try.

I would definitely recommend this for skin that has irritation, mild eczema or redness. I noticed a difference within a day or two. And it continues to work. It also has sunscreen in it, a big plus for such a good moisturizer/ skin calmer.

I have had a problem with redness for a long time and have always had to cover it with makeup. This line of Ultra Calming products really worked. I am so pleased. I use cleanser, day and night moisturizers and they are worth the money. After about 4-5 weeks I didn't even need to use concealer on my redness, just powder would do. I plan to stick with these products.
