When first diagnosed about 7 years ago, I tried several meters. More than anything, I hated dealing with those test strips - they hurt my finger tips more than the lancets! I found myself not testing as often as I should until I got the Breeze 2. The discs make it so convenient and fast, I actually test almost as often as my doctor recommends!

I was offered this meter through the Walgreen's Medicare supply service. All I had to hear was no individual test strips and no coding and I was on board. It is very easy to use, turns off automatically or manually, is compact, and the discs are very convenient. I like not having to place a test strip each time I test. One less thing to fumble with. I am very happy with this product and I am grateful it was offered to me as an alternative to other meters.

I am so happy with my Ascensia Breeze 2 Glucometer. It is so convenient, goes everywhere I go & no more fumbling with strips or coding. You just pop up the strip from the disc within the glucometer & you're ready to go with accurate readings in less than 5 seconds.Diabetes couldn't be easier & more pleasant to deal with & manage.Thank you again for making my diabetic life easier.

I bought this meter because of the price, I like my One Touch meter much better, this one you have to manually turn off.

I use the product twice a day: Once in the morning and once in the evening. It gives consistent results. Display is easy to read, date and time stamps are handy for keeping a written log. Like the fact that it provides Daily, 7, 14, 30 day averages. One con is that using the Ascencia Disk instead of the Bayer Disk Type results in a longer analysis (up to 30 seconds, where the Bayer is consistently 5 sec or less). The lances loaded in to the Spring Loaded device is a tiny needlepoint which delivers a very rapid puncture with only a momentary slight discomfort. (What more can I say ... getting stuck with a needle is not fun!) I just was diagnosed with Type II. Considering this is my first experience with a Glucose Monitor Devise.. I think it has performed well.
