Rated 1 out of 5 I've been trying to grow out my hair and since this product is called "super gro," I assumed it would work for me. Immediately when I got home I took a chunk and massaged it in my scalp. Boy, that was a mistake. I have a medium hair texture that is very straight. This stuff made my hair so greasy for probably two weeks straight. I shampooed it many times and it was still oily! I'm assuming it was the petroleum and coconut oil ingredients, since those are very heavy and thick.. So i've used sweet almond oil instead. It does NOT weigh the hair down and easily washes out...

This product was terrible. I was in market basket picking up some chicken for dinner when I came across this totally misleading title "Super Gro". I said, OMG YES! (I've been trying to grow my hair out forever) So I bought it, lathered it all over my head (there were zero directions) and let it sit for a half hour. When I went to wash it out, I was like a duck in an oil spill and the water was just beading off my head. AWESOME. I had to go into work with it looking like it was dipped in a vat of crisco. It was awful. I was informed at work that this was meant for African Americans, which I am not. Also, you're supposed to use the littlest amount ever, not a handful. I was forced to call a salon, after washing it 8x with no luck, when they told me to use Dawn dish detergent to get it out. A half a bottle later, I'm clean again... and smell like dishes.
If you're white, don't use this. Although it's entertaining, it didn't make my hair grow.

I thought it was terrible!! It made my hair look all oily and greasy, then I couldn't get it washed out! It must have taken at least 4 times of washing to get just some out not all!

This is a product that is for white or black men or woman. With all the products out there that say they take away freezy hair it is the best. I as a white woman found it by accident over 25 years ago. I was a young woman with curly hair that would freeze when I blew it out. This product stops it and you need very little keeping in mind that everyones hair is different. I found it in college I wish I knew about it in High School. I am now using this on my 7 year old daughter who has curly hair and although she wears it both ways and loves her hair both ways, she still wants her hair to look shinny and feel like silk.

this did not help my hair grow or stay strong. it actually made my (afro) hair fall out more too.
