Works great as a cold pack

Pros: soft protective cover is built in, velcro strap works great

Cons: cold use more quilting. material shifts.

Contrary to the other cold-pack user's review, mine was perfectly cold after sitting in the freezer overnight. However, it is not supposed to be cold to the touch, just like a gel pack with a towel around it is not cold to the touch. It has to stay in place in order to get the benefit. I bought the back wrap for my shoulder, because the pain is over a broader area than the Bed Buddy shoulder wrap would cover. I put the velcro strap around my back and across my chest, and it is staying firmly in place. I've had it on for about 30 minutes and it is still cold. It could use a bit more quilting to keep the material inside from shifting.

Cons: Not large enough

Not as described , after a night in the freezer, was barely cold. Might work well for hot applications, but definitely worthless for cold applications.

Pros: freedom of movement., holds heat well.

I have loved my Bed Buddy Back Wrap for about 10 years now. I went on-line to see if by any chance they were still around. Thankfully they are :-) ! My son and daught-in-law would really benfit from this. The have a wrap but you can not move around when in use. I love the freedom of the Bed Buddy and the heat is great!

Pros: Compact Design, Easy To Use, Comfortable, Heats Up Quickly

I LOVE my Bed Buddy! I need moist heat for my condition and it works great. Mine is pretty old, and had some holes in the cover, so I bought a conventional heating pad. I was so dissapointed, I went back to my Bed Buddy and fixed the small holes in the cover. I will definitely replace my old Bed Buddy with a new one.
