Chai is a delightful blend of tea and exotic spices. It is often brewed with milk, with gives Chai a wonderful, creamy characteristic. In Bigelow All Natural Caramel Chai we have added caramel, offering you a whole new dimension in Chai.
To enjoy the authentic Chai experience, just open up our stay-fresh foil packet, brew a cup, add milk, sweetener or honey to bring out the flavor of the spices. For a moment you might just feel like Maharaja or Maharini.

Traditional Chai is served with milk and sweetener.
Authentic Method: For each 8 oz. cup, place one tea bag in a saucepan with 3/4 cup of water (6 fl. oz.) and 1/4 cup of milk (2 fl. oz.). Bring to a rolling boil, lower heat and simmer 4 minutes. Pour into cup(s) and sweeten with sugar or honey. Traditional Indian Chai is served quite sweet.
Quick Method: Pour boiling water over one tea bag in a 6-8 oz. cup or mug. Allow to steep 4 minutes. Add a dollop of milk and sweeten to taste.
For Iced Chai, prepare product hot with milk and sweeten - then pour over ice.
