Soft water & light loads:  Scrape excess from dishes.  Load dishes in dishwasher according to manufacturer's instructions, never crowding dishes.  Fill cups 1/4 to 1/2 way (approx. 2-4 Tbs.) or 1/2 to all the way if you only have one soap cup.  Hard water & heavy loads:  Fill cups half way (approx. 4 Tbs.).  If you only have one soap cup fill 1 cup to all the way.  May require a rinse aid in extreme hard water conditions.  Difficult coffee and/or tea stains might need to be pre-scrubbed or pre-soaked.
