Apply directly to toilet bowel and under rim, scrub with toilet brush, letting the micro-scrubbers do the work, then flush.  No need to let sit!  Porcelain, Sinks, Tubs & Tiles, & Shower Doors:  Apply directly to sponge or soft brush.  Rub lightly, letting the mirco-scrubbers do the work.  Rinse with water, then dry off with towel.
