Got a giant cold sore on Friday, went to the store and they didn't have my regular stuff so I grabbed this stuff. It works excellent. Even makes the cold sore not as red. It's Sunday and my cold sore is healing already.

I woke up with a cold sore on Friday morning (today is Monday), but I couldn't get to Walgreens until early afternoon, so I just kept icing it all morning. A pharmacist recommended Campho - Phenique to me, and I felt the itching and pain subside literally the second I put it on my lip. The big bubble / swelling had disappeared completely by Saturday night, and now it's just healing. It still hurts a little, and the spot is now orange, so I keep putting it on, but I'm happy with it nevertheless because it usually took me about 4 days to get it to where it is right now. I've tried so many different things in the past, but this is so far the best one!

Stopped my cold sore from growing immediately. My cold sore was completely healed within two days. It doesn't dry white like other topical ointments and I didn't mind the smell too much. Doesn't taste that good, but if it works this well, who cares?

Rated 2 out of 5Â by aero708 well my opinion of this is that i ve had a cold sore for liek 3 days now i barely bought this yesterday and idk if its working idont think it is because it just wets the blister its stiill really bvisisble idk if its just me that thinks that i wish it could heal faster becasue its so embararisng having it

Every time I get a cold sore I always head back into the drug store to find some thing that will heal it quickly. I finally found Campho-Phenique. I had a huge cold sore yesterday I put this on over night and this morning the redness, and size had greatly decreased. This is the best thing I have found that works for me.
