Description:

This cold pressed, natural unrefined hemp seed oil is handcrafted in small batches to preserve the nutritional properties and quality of nature's most unsaturated oil. This delicate oil, with a flavorful nutty taste, can be used in a wide range of recipes such as sauces, dips, spreads, marinades, and salad dressings. It may also be added to protein powder shakes and smoothies.

Hemp seed oil is a natural, whole food product extracted mechanically without use of chemicals, preservatives or additives. We use proprietary varieties of Canadian hemp seed specifically selected for their nutritional and fatty acid profile. Our hemp seed is grown by world class prairie farm producers under contract on a Certified Organic Regime free of in-crop pesticides and herbicides. Our hemp seeds are cold pressed at temperatures well below 50¿C.

Our freshly pressed hemp seed oil is then clarified via a cold filtering technology which removes any natural suspended solids. It is then packaged in an oxygen-free environment to protect this delicate oil and insure a fresh, quality product with an increased shelf life.

One tablespoon (15 ml) of hemp seed oil provides 8g Omega-6, 2.5g Omega-3, zero trans-fat, zero cholesterol, and 10% of the recommended daily intake for vitamin E. The dietary fat profile, ideal 3:1 balanced ratio of Omega-6 and Omega-3, GLA and SDA content, and not to mention its delicate nutty favour provides hemp seed oil an edge over other culinary oils available in the market.

Recommended daily intake is 1 to 2 tablespoons (15-30 ml). Keep sealed and refrigerated after opening. Do not heat above 150°C (300°F).
