The heat option to relieve pain is great. The only issue I have with this product is the smell. It has a chemical smell right out of the box. Heating makes the smell stronger. If you can get past the chemical smell all of the other functions of the moist heat etc are great. Not as thick as the neck wrap, which mine does not have the chemical smell.

Contrary to the other cold-pack user's review, mine was perfectly cold after sitting in the freezer overnight. However, it is not supposed to be cold to the touch, just like a gel pack with a towel around it is not cold to the touch. It has to stay in place in order to get the benefit. I bought the back wrap for my shoulder, because the pain is over a broader area than the Bed Buddy shoulder wrap would cover. I put the velcro strap around my back and across my chest, and it is staying firmly in place. I've had it on for about 30 minutes and it is still cold. It could use a bit more quilting to keep the material inside from shifting.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Votothemax Not as described , after a night in the freezer, was barely cold. Might work well for hot applications, but definitely worthless for cold applications.

I have loved my Bed Buddy Back Wrap for about 10 years now. I went on-line to see if by any chance they were still around. Thankfully they are :-) ! My son and daught-in-law would really benfit from this. The have a wrap but you can not move around when in use. I love the freedom of the Bed Buddy and the heat is great!

With the strap the is attached makes it really easy to use while I am at work.
