1. Clean the mounting surface and suction cups with a damp cloth
2. Flip levers up
3. Press dual suction cups firmly against a smooth, flat, non-porous surface
4. Flip levers down on each end of the suction handle
5. Check that indicator shows fully green (not red)
6. Manually test the adhesion to the surface - if loose, reposition and re-attach
