I discovered this through my dermatologist. I'm so glad she advised me to use it. I had very oily skin ever since my teenage years. I wish I knew about this product when I was a teenager. This product cleanses my oily skin without blocking my pores and on top of that it helps prevent my skin from breaking out.
I love how it makes my skin feel nice and soft without the greasy feeling after washing. I use it once or twice a day before showering, therefore, washes very easily in the shower. Some reviewers complain that it doesn't wash off completely, well, I eliminated that factor by applying it before I shower and then wash it off in the shower. But, even I wash it off over the sink, it still washes easily for me. Basically, lol, I'm wearing a Cetaphil mask before I step in the shower, but hey, it works great.
It's not shaving cream and don't recommend it for that, but for me, it even doubles as my shaving cream lol, I no longer buy shaving cream cause I found out it works great as a shaving cream as well so no need to wash off until I shower.
I love this product.

After reading glowing reviews how well this cleanser works with Clarisonic brush, I bought it to try with my new Mia. First, it is difficult to wash off. My face was slippery after about 10 splashes of water. After I eventually got this stuff of my face, the skin felt soft and clean while it was wet, but then...it felt dry and shiny-tight15 min later. Sun literally reflected from my nose into the mirror. I still felt some kind of residue on my face patting it with fingertips, and skin was not soft at all. Applying moisturizer helped only partially. Deeply disappointed, and will be back to my Lancome Cream Radiance that works miracles together with the brush.

It took me until my 50's to find the facial cleanser that is perfect for my skin, but when I tried Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser I never looked further. Since my teens my face has been very oily and would have acne break outs. At the same time, my skin is very sensitive and many products would cause a "sunburned" look and feel. Finally I tried the Cetaphil products. Although their "Gentle Skin Cleanser" didn't work well for me (breakouts), the Daily Facial Cleanser was like a miracle. My acne breakouts disappeared for the first time since I was a teenager and my skin feels soft and clean. I recommend Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser for anyone with skin that is both oily and sensitive. It is a little more expensive than others, but a bottle lasts a long time.
