Heat oven to 350°F. Pour contents of enclosed baking mix into bowl. Add 1 cup of warm water and 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Stir well with spoon until cool enough to handle, then knead thoroughly with hands. The mix will appear to be very dry until kneading is complete. On a floured surface, roll dough to approximately 1/4" thick and cut dog bone shapes with enclosed cookie cutter. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bones may be placed close together on the pan (they will not rise or spread). With spatula, turn bones over and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Bones should be lightly browned on both sides when done. Note that shorter cooking time may be necessary if using a coated pan. Allow to cool. Finally...Enjoy! For crunchier bones, allow to sit out overnight. Yields approximately 48 finished dog biscuits, depending on thickness. Buddy Biscuits contain only natural preservatives, so you may consider freezing them to prolong freshness.
