I've been using "hotcomb" type dryer since the '80's. Since hair has natural curl it controls with the comb as it drys. It is impossible to find in stores now. Walgreens, you are a lifesaver.

I absolutely have trusted and used this brand of blow dryer for my hair over the years. It is of excellent quality thus very durable. I have very curly hair and with the ease of this blow dryer I am able to dry my hair quickly without damaging my hair. This model is light weight, has the necessary accessories and has made me very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Coolpie The only hair dryer I'll ever use!
I borrowed one of my curly-headed friends dryers in college when mine broke - it was the best thing that could have happened to my hair! I have been using this style hair dryer for the past 12 years. This particular model is the best I have found. I usually buy two at a time b/c someone will use mine and ask where to get one - and I'll just give them my extra. They are only available for purchase on-line, and that goes for EVERY retailer I have ever found these at. The only down side is that you must be careful not to cover the air-intake with your hair as you dry - I've noticed the hair around my face is shorter than the rest of my 20" (or so) long hair. For me it is no big deal - it looks layered. This dryer will straighten, calm fly-aways, de-tangle (last all day), and seems to add softness to my hair. I have somewhat wavy hair, but remember as I wrote above, it straightens even my college friends super-curly hair! She still uses this dryer today - she will put the top of her hair up - dry underneath and then dry the top using the brush attachement. I do things a litttle different - I turn my head upsidedown, dry underneath, then flip my hair over and dry the top. My hair is somewhat fine and long - my drying time is cut in half and my hair is tangle-free.
