Pro tip: Ideally, nails should be cut when wet for smoother edges.  Nails should be cut into an oval shape and should extend slightly beyond the fingertips to protect this sensitive area.

To Sharpen:  Hold sharpener with open end facing up.  Insert scissors through the offset slots of sharpener, one blade above and one blade below the ceramic rod.  While applying gentle motion with the scissors.  This will restore scissor blades to precise cutting edges.
