For the money, this is the best! I usually buy online at Walgreens when is offered as buy one, get one half off. It lasts all day, but you don't want to put alot on. I don't havetime or forethought to constantly put on lipstick, but with this product, you don't have to. Lasts for a full 8 hours, sometimes I wake up in the am and lips still look great. That's a plus.

Great product, but I might switch?

I have been loyal to Covergirl Outlast Lipcolor for over 5 years and think it is a terrific product, but recently I tried Maybelline Super Stay 24 2-Step Lip Color and I think I might like it a little better. It's a close call. They are about the same price, the M24 is just .10 oz compared to CG's .13 oz. The M24 has a bigger applicator which gets it on easier. I only tried the M24 in a light color (Timeless Toffee) but it looked good all day, wore off evenly, went on smooth, dried fast, but didn't dry out my lips as much as the CG and stayed pretty moist looking (compared to CG which looks really dry and brings out fine lines in my 43 yo lips). I don't use the topcoat on either, but the CG really needs it and the M24 doesn't. They both stay on all day but the CG wears off unevenly especially in the darker colors. I need a lip liner with both, I wish they would make coordinating Outlast/24 lip liner. I am very fair skinned but both brands are lacking in deeper shades for when I have a little tan, and I find both are misrepresented by the color on the box compared to the color in the tube. I like both but I think I'm going to buy more of the M24 if it's on sale.

Pros: super long-lasting, wonderful colours, Easy To Use

Cons: A little pricey

This is the best lip colour brand I've found and it's the ONLY one I use now. "Canyon" is my fave shade. This stuff really delivers and stays on for hours and hours. The topcoat is very nice, too --- very moisturizing --- with a subtle vanilla scent.
This is a truly perfect product that absolutely does live up to the hype.

Fabulous but expensive for small quantity!

Pros: lasts forever!, no feathering or bleeding, touch up with gloss a plus, always feel well groomed, a smile complimenter!

Cons: getting too expensive for quanity, colors deceptive in tube, difficult to grab all product to the very end

Have used this since it first came out. Haven't had any of the problems mentioned, EXCEPT when I have used the non-pearlized versions. My lips are pretty old (60's) and they love it, but my, my...you little stinkers got me hooked and then changed the quantity! I'm shopping around and can't find the stay power in others. Still, I am now on a fixed income and might have to give up the first lipcolor I have ever had that truly goes the distance like a best friend!

Cons: not enough product per container, A little dry

The only lipstick I like better was the Coty 24 in the gold tubes! I can no longer find that product. It does feel a little dry but I carry a pill box full of vaseline for the day to take care of that. The color stays and that is what I pay for. Wish there were more per container. Doesn't last as long as it did when I first started buying it. Must have reduced th amount?

the only lipstick I can use now

Pros: really lasts

Cons: can't buy sticks separately

I've been using this lipstick for a few years and my only fear is that they will discontinue the type or the one color that I depend on. My only gripe is that I use up the colored stick and still have many leftovers of the accompanying topcoat. I wish we could just buy the color separately and save money!
