Crane Germ Defense Humidifier Filter

The Crane Germ Defense Demineralization Filter helps reduce mineral buildup caused by hard water, eliminating the white dust left behind from humidifiers.  The filter screws easily onto the tank cap of Crane Germ Defense Humidifiers (sold separately) and can last for up to two months or 30 to 40 fillings depending on mineral content in water.

Filter Eliminates White Dust
Tap water often contains a high level of minerals such as calcium and magnesium, resulting in hard water. When hard water is used in a humidifier, these minerals disperse into the air, causing a white dust to settle on furniture. The Crane humidifier filter counters the effects of hard water, trapping minerals before they can disperse and cause white dust.
The filter is designed for use with Crane Germ Defense Humidifiers (sold separately) in manual and digital models.

Screw pre-soaked filter onto tank cap and insert into water tank.Easy Installation
Soak filter for 30 minutes in a separate container to activate the filter. Simply screw pre-soaked filter onto tank cap and securely insert into full water tank.  Place full water tank onto water basin and wait fifteen minutes for the water to pass through the filter before starting the humidifier.

For best results, replace the filter after every 30 to 40 fillings or every one to two months.  The filter should also be replaced if the humidifier has not been used for an extended period of time.
