Maintaining healthy hair stems from the first step which is the shampoo you use. I've been trying different shampoos which promised to give my hair moisture and manageability, but none have lived up to my expectations, so I purchased Cream of Nature Moisturizing Shampoo based off the reviews I had read. From the moment I put the first coat throughout my hair I could feel how smooth, moisturizing, and conditioning this shampoo was while it coated each strand of my curly hair. Overall, after using this conditioning shampoo, I won't be needing a conditioner because it performs the job of both a shampoo and conditioner. This is my shampoo of choice from this day forward.

By far the BEST shampoo I have come across in a long time. Lathers up very well and the moisture I could feel during and after using. I paired it with the leave in conditioner, my hair has not felt this moisturized in a very long time. Fabulous!

I have relaxed hair and this shampoo is included in my weekly hair regimen.Yes this does have sulfates.
I alternate this with the Aphogee Deep moisture shampoo. My hair feels very moisturized and detangled
after use.I do not feel any dryness at all but keep in mind i do deep condition after shampooing my hair.

Rated 2 out of 5Â by deee Bring back the old formula!!
I have been using cream of nature for almost 10 years, and I have gone from being relaxed to transitioning to my natural afro textured hair.
This stuff used to be exceptional for both textures--it deposited oils in the hair that helped seal in moisture from the shampoo. My hair always felt so, so soft because it didn't have the drying ingredient sodium laureth sulfate. I bought it because it was one of the ONLY shampoos that DID NOT have SLS in it, and I could find it in any store rather than the health foods store, AND at a reasonable price.
This new formula now has sodium laureth sulfate, and is very drying. I was unpleasantly surprised when I washed my hair with this stuff...it feels like a brillo pad, and I am currently deep conditioning and praying that my hair retains some softness.
I mean, my hair is clean [only reason I gave it a 2 and not a 1] which is what shampoos are supposed to do, but it stripped my hair's oils in the process.
Not to mention the price was jacked up, I guess because of the economy and the packaging, which is admittedly more attractive than the white bottle. Too bad the bottle doesn't do the washing.
If it aint broke, then please do us a favor and DO NOT fix it!
