Good lotion is better than this product. It reminds me of petroleum jelly but isn't as smooth and takes digging to get some on the finger which goes under the nails. The odor reminds me of paste. I tried it on a serious bruise, as it has Arnica, but its so thick that rubbing it in is too painful.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by BunniesOpinion If you use udder balm use this it's cheaper!
I have dry cracked cuticles and Used to use the old fashioned udder balm in the green can, and it cost a lot! I came across this and bought it because of the price. It is AWESOME. I use it for dry cracked cuticles, dry heels, on my lips, under my nose when sick (dry skin from tissues) EVERYTHING! Has a nice pleasant fragrance (mint) and you notice complete results no later than day 3 of use. BUY IT!
I would file this under "beauty secret"

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Taffy Great for Bruises
This is fabulous for the bruises on my elderly mother. She applies it immediately after bumping into something or any other action that may cause bruising. She bruises VERY easily. The arnica keeps the bruises from spreading. Using this has made her arms only have small bruises rather than being completely covered in bruises like before.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Savante Amazingly effective
For years I used Blue Star Ointment for dry, cracked skin on my hands and heels. It does help. I tried Pomada de Arnica as an experiment, without knowing anything about it, and was amazed to find that it is much more effective than Blue Star, not to mention having a nicer consistency and smell also. My hands are much better with Pomada de Arnica than they have been in many years, and dry, cracked skin on my heels is a thing of the past. I haven't used Pomada de Arnica on my face, but maybe that's a good idea too as I'm getting on in years and those wrinkles are starting to appear.
I was very disappointed when I could no longer get Pomada de Arnica locally and for awhile I had to go back to Blue Star. I noticed some recurrence of old skin problems. Then I found Pomada de Arnica on the Walgreens website and ordered a bunch of it right away. As soon as I started using it, my hands and heels got better immediately. This stuff is amazingly good! Now I have a good stash of it, which I keep stored in the refrigerator as it has no preservatives, and I will order more well before it runs out. I am very grateful to have found such a useful, effective, and economical product.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Tina the Grandma Arnica relieves grandsons growing pains
I use this produce to ease my grandsons growing pains and pains associated with other meds he takes for asthma. His joints hurt him so bad that he cries. I rub this on his affected joints and it helps him relax and ease the pain. A good affect is that it is also good for the skin, dry chapped dry skin, and blisters. I think this is a wonderful salve.
