Rated 5 out of 5Â by Vanessa Trusted product and brand
I remember seeing these vitamins since I was very young. It is a well known product and to me the only vitamin I would give my little ones. For breastfeeding mothers, babies lack vitamin D. This has D vitamin but also many others. For D only use D vi sol.

I've read alot of reviews on infant/childrens' liquid vitamins. Almost all of them complained their childen would spit it out. I find hat untrue with my own. Maybe it's because I read the packaging and followed the advice printed ; can be mixed into food or beverage. That's exactly what I do. First meal/ bottle of thwe day I drop in the recommended dose.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Eddie B. Go generic and save
We used this brand for our kids until we found a cheaper generic. [...], it's half the cost of the brand name. Also, I wouldn't expect any child to take this directly. It tastes awful. We always mix it with their morning cup of milk.

First off.. NEVER give this stuff directly from bottle. I know the bottle says this is ok, but it tastes horrible!
Second.. if your child is able to take this in juice, it should be given that way because Iron is best absorbed by your body when taken with something that contains vitamin C. The juice may also help/prevent the constipation the iron in this vitamin might cause.
This product has been very effective for my son! His iron count was quite low, and now is well within the normal range.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Grandmother Poly-Vi-Sol
I had 3 kids and put it in their milk because they wouldn't take it after the first dose by mouth. It took a couple days to get used to the change of the milk but they took it. Now I have grand children and they get it in their milk. It is good for them.

My six month old daughter has been on a multivitamin supplement since birth. Recently, I have been able to switch her to this much cheaper, over-the-counter version of the same vitamin, PolyViSol w/Iron. After having to take non-fruit-flavored vitamins with the consistency of cold molasses, this product is a luxury. Of course it doesn't taste like juice but it is a much better alternative.
My daughter appreciates when I mix it with a bottle as she does not react differently to milk with the vitamin present. Even when I breastfed, I still added the vitamins in bottled milk or approved juice. I do not recommend feeding the vitamin directly into a child's mouth as I know my daughter would probably spit out half and stain yet another outfit :)
