Easy to take. No digestive upset after. And I can't say whether it "works" or not, but my daughter does have good vision (I don't) and was allowed to skip a grade. Did the pills make that happen? I'm sure there were other factors. But who knows!

I bought this because I can't stand fish plus there are too many rules that are associated with fish while pregnant, and I doubt any pregnant women out there are willing to eat 10-11 large eggs to get the 200 mg of the DHA. Sucky thing is I just found out about it last week, and now I'm 32 weeks pregnant. Atleast it will do her good while she's in the womb for the next 6-8 weeks, plus will do her great while shes breastfeeding.

I was a smoker up until i found out that i was pregnant. Thought i had messed up my body with cigarettes and bad eating habits. Then i was blessed with a child that was growing inside of me. I became very health conscious for my baby and myself and my GREAT gyno told me to take Expecta Lipil for added nutrition.........next best descision i made after quitting. Everyone will try to say that their child is the smartest, but let me tell you I have a very, very, very active 5 month old who acts and grasps way beyond her age. Since birth she has progressed quickly. She is now on the Enfamil Lipil formula.In combination with my prenatal pills we both got the required supplements and more. I've always wanted to take DHA, especially with the growing body of evidence showing how beneficial it is, not only to prenatal development but to the adult brain as well. However, I stayed away from it because oils make me belch and the taste of old fermented fish oil is just nasty. Recently, my husband and I started to try and conceive a baby so my GYN told me to add DHA to my prenatal vitamins.
These are just great! No fishy or algae taste, if I do belch it tastes like lemon, which is happy news to me. The caplets are relatively small and easy to swallow. No complaints here, I'll definately stay on this throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I was searching for everything I could do to help in my baby's development while I was pregnant. When I was at the pharmacy the Pharmacist recommended the Expecta lipils to promote brain development. I bought then and took them from the moment I was pregnant til the end. I have to admit my baby was healthy and smart. She started walking at 10 months, speaking at 1 year, and now she is 20 months and super active. She grasps on quicker than other kids and is always trying new things. I have to say she is super smart!!! I also took all of my folic acid along with this supplement.
