I purchased two of these in December, 2011, and installed them and began using them immediately.
Both failed within one week.
Neither will keep accurate time (the timers turn on and off at different times every day), and on one of them the "bypass" switch is totally inoperative.
The manufacturer's "Web site" appears totally bogus. I emailed the company via the address they supplied with the 1-year warranty info, but as yet I've gotten no response.
Lesson learned: NO more cheap timers! Rrrgh!
I would give this ZERO stars if that were an option!

As with the other reviewer, I bought this item and it didn't work at all. The timer doesn't turn and it's worthless. Also, although it says "First Alert" I think it may not be actually made by First Alert. The website they have listed looks like some sort of front and is not the real First Alert website.

Horrible useless product. I purchased 2 of these and they slightly worked (turning on or off at the wrong times) for one day. Then just stopped working at all.
