I've used soft picks for several years along with a Sonicare toothbrush. My dental exams are always excellent and I credit the use of these picks and the sonicare.

I recently had my braces removed and now I have permanent retainers on some of the upper and lower teeth. Because of this, it is a nightmare to floss my teeth. I hated flossing before I wore braces anyway and I didn't do it every single day. But while I was wearing braces, I used those brush type picks (I could not use the floss threader) but they can hurt and don't fit between the teeth as well as this pick. This pick is softer and even thinner and doesn't feel like I'm stabbing myself in the gum area as much as the brush type picks. About a month before my braces were removed, the lady at the orthodontist that usually works on my teeth showed me some samples of these "Gum - Soft-Picks" and said I would like them. She was right. I sure do wish she told me about them years ago when my braces were first put on and it would have saved me some pain and time. But anyway, I'm glad I discovered these. The only complaint I have is that they don't last as long as the brush type picks (which have a metal type wire). These picks bend very easy but that can also be a positive thing if you are trying to get in hard to reach areas. But, because of bacteria build-up, you should throw them away after a few uses. I just like to get my money's worth by cleaning them with either alcohol, mouth wash or soap and water. They don't last very long even with care. I highly recommend this "Gum Soft-Picks" to everyone!

These things are great! Of course my dentist is always bugging me about flossing but I can't put up with the "needle and thread" to get into all my bridges. I began using these
about five years ago and have had healthy gums since. The trick is, of all the "brush picks" on the market, these are the only ones narrow enough to get completely into every space between teeth.

The soft picks get between teeth easily - better than all other flosses and picks. I wish they came in a larger quantity package.
