THis color is wonderful if your a very light blonde already or have mostly white hair ( grey). It covers well. It takes me 3 boxes as I have very long thick hair. So do buy the right amount for your type of hair thickness and length. I love this, takes out any yellowing from grey white hair and you just get a platinum color which is beautiful. If you have dark hair, do lighten first or you will not get correct color results.

Whenever I can't afford the lightest ash blonde from agebeautiful w/ violet cooling from color charm, I would get two of these use a coupon and the card to pay only five bucks.
This extra light ash blonde from garnier on bleached out pale blonde hair will make it into a silver gray color. Awesome! Though it can be drying to my hair using the given peroxide I would just use the color tube with the oil tubes given and mix that with the 30 vol developer from one n only argon oil.
I love how thick this color is. Unlike most ash blondes, especially the lighter tones, that tend to be very thin and don't thicken the hair strands much with color to thicken it after a bleach treatment, this brand will thicken up those dry, thirsty strands.
If you have light bleached out hair this will give you a pale silver color. It has a lot more purple/blue/gray tint to it than most light pale ash blondes out there. Excellent if you want to go for a silver/white look on pale bleached blonde hair.
I don't like the conditioner it comes with...too drying. I wish they gave us the awesome thicken conditioner that Loving Care from Clairol gave.For now though, I would use Neutrogena triple moisture hair mask and leave that on for 3 to 4hrs; if possible overnight to moisture hair and bring it back to life. That stuff is such a hair savor.
The oil does help make the coloring experience less painful to sensitive scalps. I highly recommend using the oils for your bleach kits, not recommended for powdered bleach, then again I avoid powdered bleach like the plague. Use bleach creams to lighten up your hair.

I cannot stress how amazing and easy this is for darker hair!
This will not make your hair orange like most blonde hair color does if you have really dark hair and leave it on for an hour like I do.
It turns into a purple-ish colour to get rid of the brassiness and give you a nice natural blonde coulour!

Finally! I'm a natural dark blonde who has been dying her hair for years. I recently quit dying and let my hair grow out. Once it was all my natural color I went red, which eventually faded to a chesnut brown. Wanting to go blonde again, I bleached it and then dyed it a dark ash blonde (different brand hairdye). However, it was still darker than I wanted and it had a lot of orange tint to it. I decided to try this color. I read somewhere that it lightens up to 3 shades, and I would agree that's true. It lighted it wonderfully and there's absolutely no orange in it! Very happy!

This hair dye was a great color for the first week to week and a half. It quickly faded into a yellow color. So I think I'm heading for a different brand all together. I wouldn't use it again or recommend to anyone.

I have used Garnier hair color for years, and I love it! It colors well, and applies easily. I always know what to expect when I use Garnier. Walgreen's makes it easy to purchase the product, and it is often on sale!
