i thought it was really easy to use except the brush thing is weird. i like the way the color self adjusts to your hair color.

The product is easy to use but a little messy. I am biracial and tend to color alot. So when I use this product it always comes out like a honey blonde. I love it. Since it's messy I use this flat spatula brush to apply. I separate the stands with the skinny tip brush on the color ans separate with foil paper. So the highlights come out so cute on my base haircolor which is black. It look especially good when my hair is curly.

I have brown hair and just want to cover gray and this does the trick. I choose Medium Natural Brown and my hair comes out shiney and just the right shade-no orange here. Any product you choose that doesn't say "natural" in the color will tend to read orange or red. I always stick to a shade that is close to my own color. I love the Avocado extract, my hair is soft and shiney. The conditioner last more than once because I have short hair I don't use the whole package at once-it would be to heavy. I last about 5 weeks before I start to see new gray emerge and need to touch up. My own hairdresser said she couldn't tell I color my hair! That's a great compliment!

This product works well for light hair. However, if your hair is dark it will come out orangish. Use just a little at first, you can always add more. Do not use if you hair is medium brown. If you are questioning whether your hair is light or medium brown, don't use this product.

I was very disappointed with this product. I have highlights already in my hair but wanted my hair to be lighter for the Spring season. So I decided to highlight my hair using this Garnier system. I even called the 1-800 # to make sure that this is the right product for me and to talk about some concerns that I had regarding this product. However, when I applied it to my hair, it got a little messy. I even made sure the product was not touching my hair that already has been highlighted. The product must be applied to damp hair. When my hair gets damp, it get frizzy, therefore it was hard to apply the highlights. I followed the directions step by step. As soon as I finished styling my hair as usual, I saw no results. This product did nothing to my hair. Absoultely nothing. I could not believe it. Here I was, thinking it was going to change my hair orange, when all it did, was nothing. I do not recommend this product. A big disappointment.

I used the kit in color H1 which I think is the lightest, and I'm African American, with light auburn "colored" hair. I wanted some pretty subtle blonde highlights and it worked pretty well, maybe too well around my hairline, a bit too light so I'll try one or two shades darker, but still in the blonde family. The product is amazingly easy to use, although I wish they had those little wooden stick thingies that come with relaxers as well, the little comb is cool, but I wanted thicker color strips in my hair, to blend more. I will always use this product, I plan to recolor my hair about every 6 weeks, I'm a user for life. Thanks so much. :o) Sabrina
