If you smell it, then you won't be able to take it. The flavor and smell are just that gross. The color and texture is a brown and thin liquid, respectively, and the taste reminds me of a mixture of vomit and beef barley. Yes, that bad. I treat myself to a glass of juice and/or sugar free candy or gum afterwards to try and rid my mouth of the horrible taste. Nonetheless, I experience such a boost of natural energy when I take it. My heart doesn't race like it does when I have caffeine. I've heard that Geritol is most popular among the active 60 and older crowd, but I'm only 34 and I notice a difference on the days I take it compared to the days I don't.
I've heard that the tonic is effective in boosting hair growth and it helps you sleep better. I have noticed rapid hair growth around my hairline/edges that reaches almost to my eyebrows. My eyebrows are also thicker, but I'm not ready to say either is because of the tonic, which I've been taking for a month now. I also can't say I sleep better now than before taking the tonic. However, I will say that if you can get past the awful taste, Geritol Tonic is a great value and worth a try for a healthy and natural boost of energy.
