Pros: effective and quiet, proven technology

I live with a compromised immune system and am particularly prone to MRSA/Staph Infections so bought two of these to augment the two Honeywell HEPA air purifiers and so far things a a bit better. It is NOT noisey as I have one in the outlet beside my bed and literally only four feet from my pillow. The only thing that needs replaced over time is the bulb, which is not very expensive at all. Placed other one next to my desk, where i spend majority of time. Good enough for the hospitals for years, so why not at my apartment? i would think this would be a no brainer if you had a baby, kids, or even pets.

Pros: Inexpensive, Attractive Design, User Friendly, Long Life

Cons: Loud

It works better than my $400 air cleaners. I have serious sinus issues and this got rid of them. Bad news- It's really noisy. Whisper quiet it's not. I hate noise so I maybe too sensitive. But it's twice as loud as a typical 12" room fan
