Tube feeding:  Mix one packet with 2-4 fl oz (60-120 mL) warm water for 20 seconds and infuse immediately via syringe into feeding tube.  Flush tube with 15-30 mL water before and after administration.  Adding glutamine powder directly into enteral formula is not recommended.  Oral use:  Mix one packet into favorite beverage (hot or cold).  Stir well and consume immediately after mixing.  (1 serving = 22.5g powder in 120 ml fluid.  Final volume is 136 mL.)  This product can also be mixed with foods like yogurt, applesauce, pudding, etc.  Serving:  Adults:  Two servings per day.  Serving may vary according to individual assessment by a qualified health care provider.  Cautious use of enteral glutamine is advised in patients with protein-restricted diets.  Storage:  Store unopened packets at room temperature.
