I have medium/long hair that comes down just past my shoulders. (I don't consider this long really because I used to have "long" hair that came down to my waist) So not only do I have medium/long hair but my hair is super fine and crawls out of EVERYTHING. I do not use pony tail holders as they just break and damage my fine hair so I have always used claw clips which work pretty good. I saw these a few times but hesitated because I just didn't figure it would stay in my hair. I WAS WRONG!! I broke down and shelled out the $$ because I have a wedding coming up and I want my hair to look nicer than just he traditional clips I have always used. LOVE THIS THING!!! The directions aren't THAT bad, essentially I put my hair in a bun about the middle of my head, don't twist the but tight against your scalp, I put it through my actual bun, flip, and there you go. I put mouse in the middle to the ends of my hair when it is damp, pin my hair up, then lightly mist with hair spray and it will stay up all day no problems. I have to put it back up 2-3 times per day without anything in my hair. I will roll my hair and then pin it up leaving the curled ends out to create a nice up do. Highly recommend one of these!!

Extremely simple; pulled it out of the package, glanced @ instructions & had a decent updo before i left the parking lot. I plan on picking up a couple of more for backups when i misplace this one. It disappears in the updo & looks much, much better than a clip.

I love keeping my long hair off my face. I have twisting tight ponytail holders. I was hoping this would eliminate having to do that. If you've ever tried Goody's Spin Pins (they are amazing and easy) you'd look at this and figure why not. First the box instructions are horrible. Their own tutorial video online stinks. You don''t put it through the bottom of your bun and pull up. Take your hair and try it without a pin, all it does is yank your hair. You need to come at it from the bottom and try to only grab a section of hair to pull up. Even being able to work it, it takes several tries for me to get it in, in a way that hold but doesn't send the pin poking me hard right in the middle of my skull causing discomfort and pain. Don't get it if you want to do something simple as you run out the door. You need time to play with it to get it right. Go for the spin pins instead. If you have the time it does do what it's supposed to.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by candy my hair is long and thick, I was pleasantly surprised that this pin held my hair all day. I usually have no choice but to put it in a bun, but with this pin I can put it in an updo or a french twist.. I am looking forward to creating more styles.

Apparently you need a either a special kind of hair or a degree in astrophysics to make this pin work! The instructions included are absolutely useless. After many attempts, some painful, and a youtube video, I was able to at least get the thing to stay in, but my hair looked a mess. Nothing like the picture. I buy hair accessories like this to SAVE time not waste it. I should be able to take a product out of the package and put it in or on, done. Good idea, poor execution.

I bought this product and I couldn't figure it out at first... I twisted the bun at the base of my neck and I could just not get it, and the ends of it hurt on my scalp.. but then I thought to twist the bun higher up on my head and OMG it WORKED! I was amazed! just remember to twist the hair higher up on the head. I have A LOT of hair and finding styles to keep it out of my face is hard, and I get sick of the ponytail. I was so excited that this worked!
