Feels so good on my neck

Since my tumor surgery in '04, I spend most of my time sitting in front of the TV or computer or reading. My neck gets very stiff and sore. So far I haven't tried this collar cold, I'm thinking of getting a second one to keep in the freezer. Being able to apply heat directly to my neck is wonderful. I've tried folding up my heating pad but I just can't get it positioned right, not to mention being tied to an outlet and probably ruining the wiring in the pad. The only negatives I have found are it is a little pricey, and even though the instructions are to heat 1-1 1/2 minutes, that just doesn't get warm enough for me once the gel pak is in the collar, so I do it for 2 minutes. The pak is almost too hot to handle but then it is warm enough for a decent lenght of time. But I definitely recommend it!

Pros: great when hot or cold.

Cons: caution when heating and don't overheat.

I love the neck brace but you must be very careful when heating.. you must spread the gel so there is no "dry" spot or it will cook that area that is spread thin also do not connect the velcro when heating it needs to expand. or the end and get hard. Otherwise, a very good product.
