I think this is probably the best stuff to use. Its easy to put on and its effective. I used calamine lotion but that stuff is messy and it gets everywhere. The Ivarest works good. Its a quick relief with no mess and easy to apply. I think it works really well if you take a few cold showers a day and apply it on afterwards so it cleans up the blisters and puts on a new coat. The relief lasts for me about 4 hours.

Cons: lotion is light pink clear would be nice option

I've tried everything and this product really works. Soothes the skin, takes away the itch and relief lasts a long time. Took the redness away in a few hours and completely dried the rash in a couple of days.

This product saved me from a very bad case of the PI scourge. I love it. I don't have to take Benadryl tablets anymore, either. Works great. Thank you Blistex and Walgreens

Ivarest Didn't Work for Me

Cons: Transferred to clothes, Doesn't Alleviate Pain, Messy, Ineffective

Every couple of years I get poison ivy on my boots or jeans and then transfer it to parts of my body before realizing it's on me. My skin is very sensitive to poison ivy. While I'm able to ignore the itching during the day, I get to scratching it in my sleep to the point where my skin turns black-and-blue. The IVAREST did nothing to alleviate the itching, unfortunately.

I had been suffering from poison plant for almost a week and had tried lots of stuff, most of it more expensive than Ivarest. An associate at work suggested it and within minutes I felt better and the relief lasted for hours and the itching stopped spreading.
