I bought this to turn my hair black temporarily for a goth look. Washed and styled my hair first. I shook the can thoroughly, held it about a foot from my hair, and sprayed. The spray was forceful. It was like spraying black dust into my hair. Some of the dust spread around, so I'm going to have to wash it off the bathroom floor. Also, fortunately, I did not care that my hair got mussed from the forceful spray. I intended and expected that. Yes, the color comes off on your hands or anything else that touches your hair. Again, I expected that. I did not try to style my hair after application, and washed my hair thoroughly before going to bed that night. I got the black hair I wanted, without having to wear a wig. I hate wigs, as they are too warm.

I put it in and when i pushed my hair out of my eyes it came off on my hand and if a sweated it came off on my face

I haven't used this product yet, but just bought it[...]. I think it looks quite long lasting and might be good for thinner hair, as it will show more and be easier to dry. As for thick hair, it will all flake off. I'm going to use it tomarrow morning and hope things work out (:
